Planning& Zoning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />June 7, 2005 <br />Chair Hanson closed the public hearing at 6:47 p.m. <br />Motion by Commissioner Hanzal, seconded by Commissioner Wright to recommend <br />approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment for The Shores, Apple Tree <br />th <br />Square & Uptown Center, and 7050 – 20 Avenue South/6985. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />2.Ordinance #4 Amendment – Ponds & Parking Lots Within City With Principal <br />Use Not Within City <br />Chair Hanson opened the public hearing at 6:48 p.m. <br />City Administrator Larson explained that this would prevent Centerville land from being <br />used for things like parking lots and ponds if the principal use is not in Centerville. <br />Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Hanzal to close the <br />public hearing. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Chair Hanson closed the public hearing at 6:50 p.m. <br />Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Klennert Hunt to <br />recommend Council approval of the Amendment to Ordinance #4 as recommended <br />by Staff. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS <br />rd <br />1.Calling for Public Hearing – Hunter’s Crossing 3 Addition <br />Commissioner Klennert Hunt indicated the Commission usually likes to know if there are <br />any ongoing issues with the developer when hearing approval of an additional phase of <br />the development. <br />Motion by Commissioner Klennert Hunt, seconded by Commissioner Wood, to <br />rd <br />schedule a public hearing for Hunter’s Crossing 3 Addition on Tuesday, July 5, <br />2005. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />2.Shoreland Ordinance <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that heredrafted the ordinance and consolidated as <br />much as possible and suggested hearing any comments and then submitting it to the DNR <br />for review before scheduling a hearing. <br />The Commission asked that the Ordinance be sent to the DNR for review. <br />Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br />
