City Council Assessment Hearing Page Four September 9, 1987 Brad Gulsvig, 7246 Mill Road, Kathy Welk, 7219 Mill Road, Pat Schweiger, 1708 Center Street, Norman Fritchie, 1637 Peltier Lake Drive. Council member Wilharber asked what it would cost to the City if it were to not certify the tax roll in 1987. City Attorney advised that bond payments would still have to be made in 1988 in excess of $40,000.00. In addition to the appeals already presented and changes made to the assessment earlier in the meeting, Council member Wilharber also inquired about the assessable footage of the properties of: Terry and Laura Elkin, 1702 Peltier Lake Drive (corner lot); Bradley Gulsvig, 7246 Mill Road (more width and depth); Philip Schweiger, 1708 Center Street (corner lot). City Engineer advised that the corner lots have been calculated correctly per City Council direction, and that the Gulsvig lot does have 150 feet abutting Mill Road. Motion by Laska to adjourn the assessment hearing to discuss the assessment roll at a later date. Motion fails for lack of a second. Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to adapt the assessment roll with the following changes: 1. JOh11 Anderson 6933 Pheasant Lane Lot 16, Block 2, Center Oaks I From 159.4 to 135.41 assessable units; 2. Ed Albrecht Lot 1, Block 3 and Outlot A, 1729 Peltier Lal{e Drive Peltier Lake Hills Addition From 230 to 160 assessable units; 3. Leon and Mary Moran Lot 5, Block 4 1743 Peltier Lake Drive Peltier Lake Hills Addition From 170 to 100 assessable units; 4. Herbert Olinger 1873 Main Street 3rd Lot South of Lot 8, Block 1, Rehbein Estates From 243 to 175 assessable units; aye: Wilharber, Neumann, Fritchie, L~Allier; nay: Laska, motion carried.
