<br />RES()LrJTI(Jt~ ?ta7 - 24 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF THE PETITION FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />AND ORDERING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT IN THE MATTER OF THE WATER <br />SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT #87-2 OF 1987. <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City has received two petitions requesting that the <br />City improve certain property by making of an improvement to <br />install a municipal water system, including deep well, elevated <br />storage tank, chemical addition equipment, distribution lines and <br />other appurtenances, for direct use by the L~Allier Estates II <br />and proposed Centerville Heights developments north of Main <br />Street and South of Peltier Lake Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City has reviewed the Petitions and identified the <br />owners of the real property abutting the streets named in the <br />Petitions and determined the Petitions have been duly executed by <br />the owners of not less than 35% in frontage of the real property <br />abutting on the streets named in the Petitions as the location of <br />the improvement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />Centerville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />RESOLVED by <br /> <br />the City <br /> <br />Council of <br /> <br />1. The Petitions are hereby declared to have been signed by the <br />owners of at least 35% of the frontage of the real property <br />abutting on the streets named in the petition as the location of <br />the improvement. This declaration is made in conformity to <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035. <br /> <br />2. These Petitions are here by referred to the City Engineer who <br />is instructed to provide to the City Council a report advising, <br />whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it <br />should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as <br />recommended. <br /> <br />Adapted by the Council this 26th day of August, 1987. <br /> <br />~ ;C, <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />;LJ ~.~ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />
