<br />OFFICIAL NOTICE OF SALE <br /> <br />$615.000 General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1987 <br />City of Centerville <br />Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of <br />Centerville, Minnesota, will consider sealed bids for the purchase of <br />$615,000 General Obligation Improvement Bonds of the City at a regular <br />Council meeting on Wednesday, June 24, 1987, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., <br />C.T. on the following terms. <br /> <br />Purpose and Security <br /> <br />The purpose of the bonds is to provide funds for the finan- <br />cing of various assessable public improvements in the City. The bonds <br />will be general obligations of the City, for which its full faith, <br />credit and taxing powers are pledged together with special assessments <br />against benefitted properties. <br /> <br />Date and Maturities <br /> <br />The bonds will be issued in fully registered form. will be <br />dated July I, 1987, will be in integral multiples of $5,000 each and <br />will mature on February I, in the years and amounts as follows: <br /> <br />Year Amount Year Amount <br />1989 $ 30,000 1997 $ 45,000 <br />1990 30,000 . 1998 45,000 <br />1991 30,000' 1999 45,000 <br />1992 35,000 2000 45,000 <br />1993 35,000 2001 50,000 <br />1994 40,000 2002 50,000 <br />1995 40,000 2003 50,000 <br />1996 45,000 <br /> . , <br /> Redemption <br /> <br />Bonds of this issue maturing on or after February I, 1999, will <br />be subject to redemption and prior payment in whole or in part at the <br />option of the City on February 1, 1998, and on any interest payment <br />date thereafter in inverse order of maturities and by lot within <br />maturities at a price of par plus accrued interest to date of redemp- <br />tion. <br /> <br />Interest <br /> <br />Interest on the bonds will be payable on February 1, 1988, <br />and semiannually thereafter on each August 1 and February 1. All <br />bonds maturing on the same date must bear interest from date of issue <br />until paid at a single, uniform rate, not exceeding the rate specified <br />
