<br /> <br />Pusuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of <br />the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on <br />Wednesday, April 8, 1987 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier <br />called the meeting to order at 7:15 P.M. <br />Present: Fritchie, Robischon, Laska, Neumann <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon second by Neumann to accept the minutes <br />of the March 25, 1987 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to accept the minutes of <br />the April 2, 1987 Board of Review meeting, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS & COMPLAINTS <br />Councilmember Neumann asked for an update on the possibility <br />of a street light on the intersection of County Road 14 and <br />County Road 54. Clerk advised that progress is being made <br />and will update the Council when NSP supplies more definate <br />information. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES: <br />Jere Bartz of Abdo, Abdo, & Eick presented the 1986 Audit. <br />He advised that the City is making progress in decreasing <br />it's deficit & describes it as a clean audit overall. <br /> <br />Marty Asleson, Parks Director of Circle Pines appeared before <br />the Council to ask for their support in a joint compo sting project. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Neumann for the City of Centerville <br />to send a letter to Margaret Langfield to show it's interest in <br />a joint composting project with Lino Lakes & Circle Pines, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />A petition was presented to the Council to request exclusion <br />of the western end of Peltier Lake Drive from the current pending <br />road reconstruction project. A survey was also presented to the <br />Council signed by all property owners on Shad Avenue, that in their <br />opinion Shad Ave. should also be excluded from the current road <br />reconstruction project & fixed later when it gets worse. Both the <br />petition & the survey are on file with the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Mayor L'Allier advised that he appointed Joe Perkowski 7231 mill <br />Road, Peter Buesseler, 7159 Shad Ave., and Pat Schweiger 1708 Center <br />St. as representatives of their, peespective roads.. <br /> <br />Mayor L'Allier asked Pat Schwieger to report on her findings. <br />Ms. Schwieger related concern over the portion of Center St. not <br />considered for reconstruction at this time. She felt that the <br />concensus of the homeowners on her street was that the current <br />conditions of Center St. is livable & would prefer to not have <br />the proposed section of Center St. reconstructed if all of Center <br />Street can not be included. <br />
