<br />F <br /> <br />LEET <br /> <br />Officer Scott Arntzen <br /> <br />For the year end of 2007, the Centennial Lakes Police Department owned seven <br />marked squads, two marked CSO vehicles, one marked Reserve vehicle, and three <br />unmarked vehicles. Throughout the year we purchased two Crown Victoria squads, <br />which replaced two Dodge Intrepid squads. The two squads removed from the fleet <br />were #204 and #304. The following summary gives an overall record of the <br />maintenance performed for the year 2007 and also gives an explanation for each <br />vehicle. <br /> <br />The overall services for the fleet consists of 67 oil changes, 50 tires, 12 front brake <br />jobs, 8 rear brake jobs, and 5 batteries. There were four squads involved in minor <br />property damage accidents, two of them being caused by deer. There were also <br />several squads that had cooling and fuel related issues, much of which was covered <br />by warranty. <br /> <br />Squad #105 - 2005 Ford Crown Victoria: <br />This fully marked squad with a clean top is used in daily patrol and is designated to <br />the Sergeants. The vehicle was driven approximately 20,000 miles. The vehicle had <br />a total of 6 oil changes, 6 tires, 1 front brake job, 1 rear brake job, and 1 battery. The <br />vehicle also had fuel pump problems which was covered by warranty. <br /> <br />Squad #205 - 2005 Ford Crown Victoria: <br />This vehicle was driven approximately 30,000 miles. The vehicle had a total of9 oil <br />changes, 8 tires, 1 front brake job, and 1 rear brake job. This vehicle was also <br />involved in a property damage accident involving a deer causing minor damage to the <br />driver's side front end. <br /> <br />Squad #106 - 2006 Crown Victoria: <br />This is a fully marked squad used in daily patrol. The vehicle was driven <br />approximately 36,000 miles. The vehicle ahd a total of 12 oil changes, 12 tires, 2 <br />front brake jobs, and 2 rear brake jobs. This vehicle also had cooling problems, <br />resulting in the cooling fan being replaced, which was covered under warranty. <br /> <br />Squad #206 - 2006 Crown Victoria: <br />This is a fully marked squad used in daily patrol. The vehicle was driven 33,000 <br />miles. The vehicle had a total of 10 oil changes, 8 tires, 2 front brake jobs, and 1 rear <br />brake job. This vehicle also had cooling problems, resulting in the installation of a <br />cooling fan covered under warranty. This vehicle was also involved in a property <br />damage accident, resulting in minor damage to the front end. <br /> <br />Squad #107 - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria: <br />This fully marked squad was added to our fleet in May and is used for daily patrol. <br />The vehicle was driven 25,000 miles. The vehicle had a total of7 oil changes, 4 tires, <br />and 1 front brake job. <br /> <br />22 <br />
