<br />City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />June 25, 2008 <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee stated that the Parks & Recreation Committee held the Battle of the <br />Bands and Boards. He reported that before the event started, he explained what was <br />happening with the vandalism at the Skate Park and, within a matter of moments, he had <br />a couple kids come up and talk about who was responsible. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lakso stated that it is good the kids responded to Councilmember Lee. <br />She suggested that if it starts to happen again, Councilmember Lee could have a <br />gathering to discuss the matter. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee replied that another event is coming up. <br /> <br />Councilmember Paar stated that the nice thing about the Skate Park is that it keeps kids <br />from skateboarding where they should not. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lakso suggested that if the vandalism continues, they have the Citizen <br />Group monitor it. <br /> <br />3. Budget Work Session <br /> <br />Mayor Capra announced that there will be a Budget Session following the next City <br />Council Meeting. <br /> <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />A motion was made by Council Member Broussard-Vickers. seconded by Council <br />Member Lakso to adiourn the June 25. 2008. City Council Meetine:.
