Centervi{{eJ 9vf9{ 55038 <br />(651) 429-3232 . :Fa;r (651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />RESOLUTION #02-065 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />DEFINING THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE <br />AND SUPERVISION RESPONSIBiliTIES <br />FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND BUSINESS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in the Spring of 2002 the position of Finance Director was <br />created and filled, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works employees are supervised <br />by the Public Works Director, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator is responsible for the overall <br />management, leadership, communication, and accomplishment of Council <br />directed goals and objectives, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council deems quality, consistency, and thoroughness of <br />work as essential and core components of service to the citizens of <br />Centerville. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, lET IT BE RESOLVED that the City Finance <br />Director shall be named as Director of Finance and Business and, as a <br />Department Head will directly supervise the office staff, including but not <br />limited to the positions of City Clerk, Account Clerk II, and <br />Receptionist/Account Clerk, and, <br /> <br />lET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works shall <br />remain as such, and, as a Department Head will directly supervise the <br />public works staff, including but not limited to the positions of Building <br />Inspector, and Public Works Maintenance positions, and, <br /> <br />LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is <br />responsible to direct and supervise the Department Heads identifying the <br />priority work necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the City <br />Council, and, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-065 Page 1 of 2 Pages <br />
