<br />126 <br /> <br />Elmer Murray seoonded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Senator John Milton was in attendance and discussion <br />was held on sewer, stadium issue, planning bill and <br />amendment to land use bill. <br /> <br />Police Chief Myhre brought in police reports on <br />Centerville and Lino Lakes for the month of February. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the matter of a police con;ract <br />which has not been submitted for 1976. Normally, a quarterly <br />payment of $2,210 is now due and Fran Burque made a motion <br />to authorize the Mayor and clerk to enter into a contract <br />with Lino Lakes with the same conditions as in 1975 contract <br />and to submit quarterly payment of $2,210 to the City of <br />Lino Lakes, Leon L'Allier seconded it. motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor read the attached Resolution which he read <br />before a committee of the Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission on Tuesday, March 9, 1976. He informed council <br />the Centerville Interceptor status report was on the agenda <br />of the Thursday March 11 meeting of the Metropolitan Waste <br />Control Commission. <br /> <br />Clerk read the following checks #2525 through <br />#2547 to be paid, deposit of $411.66 was noted. John <br />Peterson made a motion to pay bills, Elmer Murray seconded <br />it, motion carried. Balance in general fund as of this <br />date $10,86).60. <br /> <br />John Peterson made a motion to include Judy Burque <br />on the Park and Recreation committee, Elmer Murray <br />seconded it, motion carried. Clerk would advise Mrs. <br />Burque by letter. <br /> <br />Jerry Sundberg was in attendance and asked if he <br />would like to serve on the Planning and Zoning committee. <br />Melvin Dupre had requested to be taken off the committee. <br />Mr. Sundberg would think about it and attend the next <br />meeting on March 16 of the P & Z and advise us of his <br />decision. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray gave report on the Community Education <br />meeting held on.March 1st. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion that we issue a purchase <br />order on Requisition #7351 to the Emergency Services in the <br />amount of $59.80, Leon LtAllier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:20 pm. <br />Res~tfuIIY submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />,/ <br /> <br /> <br />
