The City Council of the City of Centerville held a meeting on Wednesday, November 24, 1976 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present were: Burque, L'Allier and Peterson. Absent: Murray. Discussion was held on the sewer construction. Five deferments have been made on the 1977 sewer assessment. These are senior citizen deferments amounting to $3,883.51. Clerk has received a revenue sharing check in the amount of $932. and has deposited it in the general fund. It will be decided in January whether to place it in a separate fund or in a savings certificate. Clerk has received a check for $200. from the Office of the Secretary of the Treasury for our government's payment for anti-recession fiscal assistance for the calendar quarter beginning July 1 and/or October 1, 1976 as authorized by the provisions of Title II of the Public Works Employment Act of 1976. The check will be deposited in the general fund. ~ Council discussed the plans and specifications for Center Oaks received from Walt Williams of Carley Engineering. Council was in agreement with the engineer's recommendations and matter will be taken up with Planning and Zoning on December 7 at their meeting. The letter from Williams will be included with these minutes. Leon L'Allier made a motion to accept the following applications for licenses from Kelly's Bar: On Sale Liquor, Off Sale Liquor, Sunday Liquor, Off-Sale Non-Intoxicating Liquor and Cigarette License, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. Fran Burque made a motion to accept the following applications for licenses from Sherm'~ Trio Inn: On Sale Liquor, Off Sale Liquor, Sunday Liquor, Off-Sale Non-Intoxicating Liquor and Cigarette License, Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. Fran Burque made a motion to accept cigarette license application for Robert's Restaurant, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 10110 pm.
