<br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held a special meeting <br />on December 14, 1976 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the <br />meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present were Burque, L'Allier, <br />Murray, Peterson, P & Z members LaMotte, Wilharber, Lindgren, <br />Williams and Sundberg. <br /> <br />Purpose of meeting was to discuss the Centerville Systems <br />Statement. Attending meeting from the Metro Council were Karl <br />Burandt, Lee Starr and Bob Ranta. Walt Williams represented <br />Carley and Associates, our engineers. <br /> <br />Mr. Ranta gave a brief report on the Centerville Systems Statement <br />as it was sent out to the council members. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on the following items: <br /> <br />Transportation: Discussion on an interchange on County Road <br />#14 and 1-35W. How is Anoka County Park property going to be <br />served adequately without an interchange close by. <br /> <br />Population figures for inside sewered area and outside of area: <br />The figures on the systems statement are wrong according to our <br />figures and also the school figures on children attending that <br />live inside Centerville and the number that live outside the <br />area including 916 children. <br /> <br />What is meant by an employment figure. <br /> <br />Lee Starr gave presentation on the purpose of the systems <br />statement and what the Council's role is going to be establishing <br />septic tank monitoring and maintenance procedures, the idea of <br />establishing a 10 acre plat requirement for one house in the <br />rural service area. <br /> <br />After discussion, Mr. Ranta suggested he go over the items <br />that were discussed and submit a letter to the council with <br />his revisions or additions. <br /> <br />The matter will be discussed at first meeting in January, 1977 <br />after receipt of Mr. Ranta~s letter. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:00 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />pef~ submi tted , , <br />~~ <br /> <br />achar, Clerk-Treasurer <br />
