OFFICIAL NOTICE OF BOND SALE . $870, 000 GENERAL OBLIGATION I~lPROVE~lENT BO~~DS OF 1977 CITY OF CENTERVILLE, ANOY~ COUNTY, MINNESOTA These Bonds (the "Obligations") will be offered r~onday, December 13, 1976, at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, at the City Hall in Centerville, Minnesota. The offering will be upon the following items: DATED' AND INTEREST PAYt-lENTS The Obligations will be dated January 1, 1977 and will bear interest payable on each April 1 and October 1, to maturity, commencing October 1, 1977. TYPE AND PURPOSE OF THE OBLIGATIONS The Obligations will be general obligations of the Issuer for which its unlimited taxing powers will be pledged, in addition to special assessments against benefited proper-ty to be levied against benefited properties. The Bonds will be in bearer form with interest coupons attached and will be of the denomination of $5,000 each, unless other denominations are requested by the Purchaser within 48 hours after the award. The proceeds will be used to construct sanitary sewer improvements in the city. ~mTURITIES AND REDlli~PTION The Obligations \vill nlature P.a.pril 1 in the years and amounts as follows: Year Amount 1978 1979 - 1984 1985 1996 1997 $10,000 50,000 45,000 20,000 All dates are inclusive. All Obligations maturing after April 1, 1987 will be subject to redenlption at tlle option of the City in inverse order of serial nUlnbers on said date and any interest payment date thereafter at par and accrued interest. PAYI1~G AGENT The successful Bidder may name the Paying Agent for whose services the Issuer will pay customary and reasonable fees. An alternate Paying Agent may also be named provided that there is no additional cost to the Issuer by reason thereof.
