<br />:"-~~ I,~':) <br /> <br />A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Centerville <br />was held on Wednesday, September 22, 1976 in the City Hall. Mayor <br />Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:]0 pm. Present were: <br />L'Allier, Murray and Peterson. Absent: Burque. <br /> <br />Mr. Frank Hentges appeared before council for discussion on his <br />subdividing of property on Mill Road. Consensus was to have Mr. <br />Hentges submit a registered land survey showing one 200 x 218 <br />foot lot and the remainder of 66' being kept by Mr. Hentges. <br /> <br />Mayor read communication from the Anoka County Comprehensive <br />Health Department on our views on the Assessment policies to <br />be considered for Anoka County residents. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on information received about grants for <br />land use planning from the State of Minnesota. Clerk was to <br />check and see if the city is eligible for such a grant. <br /> <br />Mayor read communication from the Rice Creek Watershed District <br />Board giving their approval to the proposal of the Burque Estate <br />to cross Clearwater Creek with street and sanitary sewer. <br /> <br />Mayor also read approval letter from the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District Board to the St. Paul Board of Water Commissioners on <br />their appropriating water from the four existing wells (1,000 <br />gpm each) and one new well (],OOO gpm) for dewatering in the <br />City of Centerville. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to increase the salary of Mayor <br />$25 a month, effective January 1, 1977, John Peterson seconded <br />it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion to increase the salary of clerk <br />$10 a month, effective January 1, 1977, John Peterson seconded <br />it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion to increase the salary of council <br />members $10 per month, effective January 1, 1977, John Peterson <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Walt Williams from Carley & Associates presented council with <br />the final plans and specifications for Centerville Sewer Improve- <br />ment Project #76-1. The attached Resolution #i-E, approving <br />plans and specifications and ordering advertisement for bids, <br />was read. Elmer Murray made a motion to adopt Resolution #i-E <br />and seconded by Leon L'Allier, and upon vote being taken thereon <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Prachar; Councilmen <br />L'Allier, Murray, Peterson. After the opening of bids on Friday, <br />October 8, 1976, the bids shall be tabulated and submitted to <br />the City Council on October 1], 1976 for consideration. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to adjourn meeting, John Peterson <br />seconded it, motion carried.
