Hugo, Minnesota <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 76-8 <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF <br />CERTIFICATES OF INDEBTEDNESS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Sec. 412.301, authorized the <br /> <br />City Council to issue certificates of indebtedness within <br />existing debt limits to finance the purchase of fire equipment; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, a contract has been entered into for the <br /> <br />purchase of such fire equipment at a total purchase price of <br /> <br />$40,900.00; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, a Council Resolution proposing to issue <br />certificates of indebtedness in the amount of $30,000.00 with <br /> <br />which to finance the purchase of such fire equipment was adopted <br />April 21, 1976, and published in the official newspaper, with <br /> <br />more than ten days having elapsed since the publication and no <br /> <br />petition asking for an election on the proposition of issuance <br /> <br />of such certificates has been filed with the Clerk. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of Centerville, Minnesota: <br />1) The fire equipment above described shall be financed by <br />the issuance of certificates of indebtedness pledging the full <br />faith and credit of the City. Such certificates shall be.issued <br />in the total amount of $30,000.00. The certificates shall be <br /> <br />five in number and numbered from one to five, both inclusive, <br /> <br />in the denomination of $6,000.00 each, -shall bear date June 1, <br />1976, shall bear interest at the rate determined at the sale <br />
