Clerk was to <br />mail agreement to them for their signatures. <br /> <br />Norm Fritchie read a sample letter he would like <br />the council to okay and send to Mr. Torkildson. Director <br />of Parks and Recreation for Anoka County, requesting <br />Anoka County to consider negotiating with the Centerville <br />Fire Department to furnish fire protection for the Anoka <br />County Park Reserve. Fran Burque made a motion to notify <br />the county of the Fire Department's intentions, Leon <br />L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Norm Fritchie brought up the idea of exploring a <br />long-term fire protection agreement with Lino Lakes. <br />A committee of Dan Tourville, Norm Fritchie and <br />Fran Burque, Sr., has been organized to study same. <br />Leon L'Allier requested being on the committee. Elmer <br />Murray made a motion to give the Fire Department committee <br />authorization to organize talks with Lino Lakes concerning <br />long term fire protection.
