<br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held their <br />regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 14, 1975 in the <br />city hall. Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 8.00 pm. <br />Present were Murray, L'Allier, Peterson and Burque. The clerk <br />read the minutes of meetings held on April 9 and 23, May 7th. <br />There were no corrections or additions, so the minutes stand approved <br />as read. <br /> <br />F" LJ <br />:) \) <br /> <br />Discussion on the condition of Brian Street. Leon L'Allier <br />made a motion to call the county to bring in some rock and fill <br />in the bad spots, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk was to call Mickey Kost to ask him to bring in 3 yards <br />of agricultural lime for the ball field bemng used for Little <br />League. <br /> <br />Marv Myhre brought in police reports for Centerville and Lino <br />for the month of April. <br /> <br />Applicants for summer work in Anoka County from Centerville <br />should apply at Centennial Senior High on Wednesday, May 21 from <br />9 I 00 to 5 I 00 pm. <br /> <br />Clerk had received letter from Marcel Rivard advising City <br />that he had sold the property used ->lccess to the ci ty ball park <br />and that all previous easements will terminate as specified in <br />the contract. <br /> <br />Clerk had received Revenue Sharin~ Planned Use Report which <br />stated Centerville would be receiving $2,765 from JUly 1, 1975 to <br />June 30, 1976. Elmer Murray made a motion to report money would <br />be used for environmental protection, John Peterson seconded it, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Tag had been issued to Doug Drewlo on the car sitting in <br />Cecil LaMotte's yard which has hot been licensed for 1975. Elmer <br />Murray made a motion to issue Doug a annual permit dated as of <br />this date for $5.00 fee for him to keep the car without being <br />licensed, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar read a resolution received from Columbia <br />Heights regarding vandalism in city parks. John Peterson made <br />a motion to adopt resolution, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion <br />carried. A copy of said resolution is attached to these minutes. <br /> <br />Frank Everhard appeared before council with a request that <br />~e city grant approval of Center Oaks #1 which contains the first <br />48 lots in the preliminary plat. Approval was not granted. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the fence in front of Dan Skoog and <br />Lew Hendricks' house which is on the city's right of way. Leon <br />L'Allier made a motion to notify Skoog and Hendricks of same and <br />ask them to move fence back to their property lines, John Peterson <br />-seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar read letter from Minnesota Humanities Commission <br />asking ftJ~r(:a donation. Action denied. <br /> <br />Report was given by Building Committee on concrete slab in <br />front of fire door. <br /> <br />The clerk was requested to send a copy of our Ordinance #15 <br />
