<br />.., <br /> <br />..;...l 1" <br /> <br />The City Council of Centerville held a ~~)meeting on <br />Wednesday, January 22, 1975 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar <br />called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm. PResent were Murray, <br />Peterson, Burque. L'Allier and clerk Prachar arrived at 9:00 pm. <br /> <br />Lew Hendricks, Tree Inspector for the city was in attendance <br />and discussion was held on dutch elm disease problems in Centerville. <br />The problem of burning diseased trees was discussed. Lew was to <br />contact PCA and try to get a relaxation of regulations to permit <br />burning. Clerk is to contact Frank Everhard of Center Oaks and <br />Herman Strehlow, property owners, on possibility of obtaining <br />permission for burning sites. <br /> <br />Council approved obtaining a service contract on the copier. <br /> <br />Melvin Dupre was appointed to serve as Centerville represen- <br />tative on Anoka County Park Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />Copy of curfew ordinance which to our knowledge is still in <br />effect is to be sent to Hawkins for opinion. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion to approve police contract with <br />Lino Lakes for 1975, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor advised council Bill Houle would serve as citizen-at- <br />large on the police advisory committee from Lino Lakes. <br /> <br />Mayor referred to letter from state of Minnesota with info <br />on topographic and geological maps available from the state. <br />Matter tabled until next meeting. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion to adjourn meeting, Elmer <br />Murray seconded it, motion carried.
