Park fund <br />for 1974 was $150 and Fran Burque made a motion to depQsit the <br />$150 in the First State Bank of Hugo in the form af a u1'90 day" <br />savings certificate at 7 - 3/4% interest, John PEterson seconded <br />it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to deposit $15,000 in the <br />First Sta te Bank of HllgO in the fo rm of · 90 day" savings <br />certificates as follows: two $5,000. certificates and five <br />$1,000 . certificates, all paying 7 - 3,/4% interest, Leon L' Allier <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />There was a request from the Fire Department to purchase <br />3 pair of larger sized boots at $38. a pair. Elmer Murray made <br />a motion to purchase the three pair of boots at approximately <br />$114 total, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk had received revenue sharing check for $574. Elmer <br />Murray made a motion to deposit check in the First State Bank of <br />Hugo in the form af a savings certificate t paying 7 3./4% in,terest, <br />John Peterson seconded it, m6tion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor referred to correspondence from the league concerning <br />a Subbrban Rate Authority. Council was not in favor of becoming a <br />member of same. <br /> <br />Mrs. Marlene Elshaug from Robert's Restaurant had not taken <br />out her permit for a 3.2 beer license for 1975. She had voiced <br />an interest in t~king out a set up license but did not appear <br />before the council at this meeting requesting same. <br /> <br />Mayor referred to letter from the Hennepin County Bi= <br />centennial Planning Commission. <br /> <br />I . <br />
