", f <br /> <br />A snecial meeting was held of the City Council of the City <br />of Centerville on Wednesnay, Ndvember 26, 1975 in the City Hall. <br />Mayor PRachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present <br />were Burque, L'Allier, Murray and P~ter~on. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar rean a letter from Henry Amundson, Building <br />Insnector, giving u~ his resignation as of December 31, 1975. <br />Several nrospects were mentioned an~ the matter was tabled until <br />the next meeting. <br /> <br />Meeting nas been set for Monday, December 8 for Elmer and <br />Leon to meet with the School Board of District #12 to discuss <br />ballfield situation. They will report at next meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor read letter from John Boland of the Metro Council <br />advising us of a meeting on Tuesday, December 9 at 7:10 pm <br />in the Fore~t Lake School to niscuss issues of the Metro Council. <br /> <br />Mayor read reply from Mr. Boland on his letter of October <br />22 on the Centerville sewer situation. Clerk was to call Mr. <br />Gottwald about setting us a meeting in December to discuss the <br />comprehensive sewer plan for Centerville. <br /> <br />The follovving amendment to Ordinance #10 was read and <br />suggestion~ given as follows: <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 11 10 <br />AN QRDINANCE M,1ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 10 ADOPTED MAY 9, 1972, <br />AND ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE FOR A ZONrnNGPL1\NAJ~tjD BUILDING <br />REGULA TIOf\T . " <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville noes ordain: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 1 of Orrlinance 10 adopten on May 9, 1972, <br />and entitled "An ordinance for a zoning plan and <br />building regllla tion" is amenden by the addi tion <br />of the following subdivision; <br /> <br />v. <br />ANIMALS <br />(a) In all zoning districts established by this Ordinance, <br />no non-domestic animals shall be allowed on not less than five <br />acres in area ~xcept as permitted by this Section. Non-domestic <br />animals are animal~ ann poultry commonly kept for productive <br />purposes on a farm such as horses, cattle, hogs, shee~, goats, <br />chickens, and other similar animals. <br /> <br />(b) On lots of five to ten acres in ~ize, a maximum of three <br />horses, ponies or foal~ shall be permitted. Any person who <br />desires to have an excess of three horses, ponies or foals on <br />a five to ten acre parcel shall apply for a special use permit <br />in accordance with Section III, Article IV, Special Use Permits. <br />There ~hall be no restriction on the number of horses that will <br />be allowed on parce18 of land in excess of ten acres. <br /> <br />(c) Any person, firm or cornoration wishing to maintain a <br />boarding facility for such mnimals shall apply for a special <br />
