<br />('. ,...., <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held their <br />regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 12, 1975 in the <br />City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />Present were Burque. L'Allier, Murray, Peterson and Attorney Bill <br />Hawkins. <br /> <br />'t -I '; <br /> <br />Fran Burque made a motion to accept minutes of meetings October <br />20, 22, November 6 and 8, 1975, John Peterson seconded it, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar read portions of letter from City of Maplewood <br />concerning their state aid tax relief program under Governor Anderson. <br />Letter was read from Howard Neisen advising council of meeting to <br />be held on Thtlrsday, November 13 at 3: 00 pm in the Lino Lake sHall <br />to discuss legislation dealing with fiscal disparities. <br /> <br />Letter has been received from North Central Public Service <br />advising the Centerville residents that as of December 1, 1975 <br />an increase of 1.181~ per hundred cubic feet of natural gas would <br />be in effect. This would amount to approximately a $19.50 increase <br />~nnna~ly or about 6.9%. <br /> <br />Cecil LaMotte appeared before council with question on selling <br />property one acre at a time and was advised he would have to plat <br />property in question according to our ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor advised council on hearing to be held on December 12, <br />1975 at the State Capitol Building relating to the regulation of <br />cable communications. <br /> <br />Fire contract with Lino Lakes for 1976 was discussed. Clerk <br />had drawn up new contract and Leon L'Allier made a motion to <br />accept contract for 1976, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on horse ordinance which Mr. Hawkins <br />was instructed to draw up for city. John Peterson made a motion <br />for the Attorney to draw un an amendment to the zoning ordinance <br />dealing with non-domestic animal~, Fran Burque seconded it, motion <br />carried.
