<br />~ <br /> <br />(/ <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held their regular <br />meeting Wednesday, June 22, 1977 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar <br />called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm. Present: Burque, Murray, <br />Peterson and L'Allier (late). <br /> <br />Mrs. Florence Seashore of 1693 Peltier Lake Drive was in attendance <br />questioning the way she had been assessed on her two lots. <br /> <br />Before meeting commenced at City Hall, the Council had met in <br />front of Helen McKenzie's house at 1587 Peltier Lake Drive to <br />look at the road grade in front of her house. Elmer Murray made <br />a motion to instruct engineer to design a curb and gutter for <br />blacktop at present grade causing the least possible potential <br />damage to adjoining property, Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Clerk gave report on shade tree program meeting she had attended <br />in St. Paul on June 14. Clerk advised the budget amounts that <br />would be applied for and procedure used in same. Leon L'Allier <br />made a motion that the figures that are on the application are <br />agreeable with the council and authorize clerk and mayor to <br />enter into the agreement with the Department of Agriculture, <br />John Peterson seconded it,-motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor r~ad letter from Houston Engineering concerning the <br />application for permit for sanitary sewer extensions. Elmer <br />Murray made a motion to sign the application for permit for <br />sanitary sewer extensions, John Peterson seconded it, motion <br />carried. This application is for Center Oaks #1 and would <br />be submitted to the Metropolitan Seweer Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar informed council that agreement had been reached <br />with Al L'Allier on reimbursement for lift station site on <br />his property. He would reimburse the City $300. and requested <br />8 trees be replanted on the property where the construction crew <br />had removed them. <br /> <br />Mayor read portioris of letter from Houston Engineering advising <br />the change in street name on Pheasant Run to Pheasant Lane and <br />also requested that provision for the cul-de-sac right of way <br />should be made by means of an easement granted to the city by <br />separzte document (separate from the plat that is) which could <br />be recinded at some future date when Pheasant Lane is extended <br />to the south. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council he and Walt Williams would be meeting with <br />Mr. Bob Ranta of the Metro Council on Monday, June 27th to dis- <br />cuss the population figures in the systems statement. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray reported on his meeting with Floyd Kruger and Mr. <br />John McClellan of the School District concerning the development <br />and financing of two tennis courts in the City of Centerville. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier requested Floyd Kruger be asked to chair the Parks <br />and Recreation Committee and asked the clerk to request this by <br />letter. <br /> <br />~ <br />
