<br />( <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held their regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, November 23, 1977 in the City Hall. Mayor <br />Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present were: <br />Burque, Murray and Peterson. Absent: L'Allier. <br /> <br />Correction to minutes of meeting held November 9, 1977 were as <br />follows: Paragraph nine should read: "The remainder of work <br />to be done due to sewer construction by C. W. Houle was dis- <br />cussed. Engineer estimated work completed to date would amount <br />to $45,800. John Peterson made a motion to pay C. W. Houle <br />$30,000. of that amount, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried." <br /> <br />Fran Burque made a motion to accept remainder of November 9, 1977 <br />minutes, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Lee Starr from Metro Council called the clerk on progress <br />made by the City on matters concerning the sanitary sewer system. <br />The Mayor read a proposed letter to Mr. Boland advising the <br />Metro Council about the city's progress on the sewer and other <br />mutual interests. <br /> <br />Center Oaks project was discussed. The first phase of the project <br />consists of 25 acres, or 49 lots, of which 2i acres would be <br />dedicated as park land. John Peterson made a motion that in lieu <br />of land, the council would accept $1600 an acre or a total of <br />$4000 cash settlement for Park and Playground in Center Oaks <br />#1 according to our city ordinance #15, Section 6, paragraph <br />12, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. Clerk will advise <br />parties concerned as to this matter. <br /> <br />The following license applications were submitted for approval: <br /> <br />1. Robert's Restaurant - Cigarette license application. <br />John Peterson made a motion to accept application, Elmer Murray <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />2. Sher's Trio Inn: Off Sale Liquor, On Sale Liquor, Cigarette <br />license application, On Sale Sunday Liquor and Off-Sale Non-In- <br />toxicating Liquor. Elmer Murray made a motion to accept applications, <br />Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />3. Kelly's Bar - Off Sale Liquor, On Sale Liquor, Cigarette <br />license application, On Sale Sunday Liquor and Off-Sale Non-Intox- <br />icating Liquor. Fran Burque made a motion to accept applications, <br />Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />4. Twin Lakes Supper Club - On Sale Liquor, Off Sale Liquor, <br />Cigarette license application, On Sale Sunday Liquor, Off-Sale <br />Non-Intoxicating Liquor and Dance permit.
