The City Council of the City of Centerville met on Wednesday, <br />March 8, 1978 in the City Hall, Mayor Prachar called the meeting <br />to order at 7:00 Pm. Present were: Burque, L' Allier , Murray, <br />- Peterson and Attorney Hawkins, <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to accept minutes of meeting held <br />February 22, 1978, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. <br />Leon L' Allier made a motion to issue a license to D -C General <br />Builders for sewer construction work in the City of Centerville <br />during 1978, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. Elmer <br />Murray made a motion to adopt Resolution #7, Leon L' Allier <br />seconded it, motion carried. Resolution #7 is attached to and <br />made a part of these minutes. <br />Mayor Prachar advised council of a request from the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District asking for copies of our meeting minutes. <br />Council advised clerk to put them on mailing list. <br />Discussion was held on the 1978 fire contract with Lino Lakes. <br />Clerk from Lino has informed Centerville clerk of change in <br />square mile coverage from 20 to 15. Lino council was to discuss <br />contract at their council meeting on March 13 and advise Centerville <br />accordingly. Matter was tabled until the March 22 council meeting. <br />Complaint has been voiced on the condition of property at 6892 <br />Centerville Road. Clerk was asked to inform Building Inspector <br />of situation and report back. <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to approve agreement with Barton- <br />Aschman, City Planners, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br />Discussion was held on preliminary plat of LeRoux Addition. <br />Matter tabled until next meeting. Council requested the Attorney <br />and Bngineer to work on "old" Mound Trail legal description. <br />Clerk informed City Council Board of Review for the City would <br />be held on Wednesday, May 17 at 7:00 pm in the City Hall, <br />Clerk read letter from Walt Williams on the Clearwater Creek <br />Report prepared by the Corp of Engineers. Council instructed <br />Mayor to draft letter to the Corp of Engineers advising them <br />that the City is not entirely pleased with their report. <br />Street restoration study was discussed. Council consensus was <br />to go along with Plan A and the Mayor was to call the Anoka <br />County Highway Department to find out what the County plans <br />to pick up on the cost of the 2 -block Centerville Road restoration. <br />Walt Williams was to come to March 22nd meeting with two plans: <br />Plan A - The County picking up half of the Centerville Road <br />2 -block restoration and city picking up other half; <br />Plan A - Dropping Centerville Road restoration completely, <br />
