The City Council of the City of Centerville held their regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, February 22, 1978 in City Hall. Mayor <br />Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present were <br />Burqu e , L' Allier , Murray, Peterson and Attorney Hawkins, <br />Leon L' Allier made a motion to accept minutes of February 8 <br />meeting, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br />Discussion was held on vacating Westview Street from the crest <br />of the hill to Main Street. Matter was tabled until next meeting. <br />Discussion held on holding a public hearing to vacate Mound Trail <br />as a city street and the city to retain Mound Trail as a utility <br />and scenic easement. Fran Burque made a motion to adopt Resolution <br />#6, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. Copy of #6 is <br />attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />Leon L' Allier made a motion to adopt Resolution #7 considering <br />the Highway Easement grant dated February 6, 1978 describing <br />the new Mound Trail and the city accepting it as a city street <br />as of this date, John Peterson seconded i t , motion carried. <br />Resolution #7 is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />Mrs. Dorscher of 7073 Centerville Road was in attendance com- <br />plaining about the hockey pucks hitting her house. Consensus <br />was to put up new fence after season is over but for now the <br />hockey would be played on the south end of the rink. <br />Agreement of Barton-Aschman Associates with the city was dis- <br />cussed. Mayor was to check on clarification on some items in <br />agreement and report at next meeting. <br />Walter Williams of Carley & Associates was in attendance and <br />balance of meeting was spent discussing the feasibility study <br />on the street restoration. Four plans are being considered <br />and Walt Williams was to check further into Plan D and present <br />it at the March 8 meeting. <br />Leon L' Allier made a motion to purchase carpet for the clerk's <br />r-F'-F'i �n T+v+n►n 1�iY+n� e-orsnv�orl <br />4+ mn+; nn nOrr4 oA <br />J.
