RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission has <br />requested the City of Centerville to adopt a local ordinance <br />providing for industrial user strength charge; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission asserts <br />that the requirements of the Federal Water Pollution Control <br />Act Amendments of 1972 (Public Law 92-500) obligates the <br />City of Centerville to adopt said ordinance when applicable; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville presently has no land which <br />is utilized for industrial use within the severed area of <br />the City; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is not presently contemplated that the City of <br />Centerville will, in the foreseeable future have any in <br />industrial use within the MUSA Line of the City; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville supports the concept of the <br />Industrial User Strength Charge; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville as follows: <br />1. That the City has not presently enacted an <br />Industrial User Strength Ordinance. <br />2. That the City support the concept of an <br />Industrial Strength User Charge Ordinance, <br />3.
