The City Council of the City of Centerville held their regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, January 11, 1978 in the City Hall, Mayor <br />Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present: L' Allier <br />Murray, Peterson and Attorney Hawkins. Absent: Burque. <br />Leon L' Allier made a motion to accept minutes of meeting held <br />December 14, 1977, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br />Albert L' Allier appeared before council with final plat resen- <br />tation of L' Allier Estates. Elmer Murray made a motion to <br />approve final plat of L' Allier Estates with the following <br />stipulations: Attorney has not received notification on the ` <br />search and approval of abstract; that portion of the plat <br />described as Peltier Drive that is retained for road easement <br />be changed to Peltier Lake Drive and Lots One and Two, Block <br />Two would not be allowed to build on until there is access to <br />a city street, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br />Floyd Laska and Russel Almendinger from Mound Trail were in <br />attendance in conjunction with the Jonathan Home for Boys <br />being considered for housing in the Chain of Lakes Park <br />Reserve. The City Council voiced their disapproval of this <br />proposal and Leon L' Allier made a motion to adopt a Resolution <br />advising the Anoka County Board of Commissioners of our <br />feelings, Elmer Murray seconded i t , motion carried. Resolution <br />#3-78 is attached to and made a part of these minutes, <br />Scott Burque and Joe Dupre appeared before council and they <br />have been retained by the City to act as skating rink atten- <br />dents. Mayor Prachar read a list of rules and regulations <br />for the skating rink and warming house which the attendants <br />are instructed to enforce.
