Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />November 22, 1978 in the City Hall, Mayor Prachar called the <br />meeting to order at 7:20 pm. Present were: Burque and Laska. <br />Absent: L' Allier and Murray, Both arrived later in the meeting. <br />Fran Burque made a motion to accept minutes of meetings held <br />November 8th and 15, Floyd Laska seconded it, motion carried. <br />Mrs. Laurel Kuchinski appeared before council stating that her <br />financial condition was such that she could not afford to pay <br />the hook up permit for the sewer at this time. She was instructed <br />to bring something in writing to the December 13th meeting stating <br />her financial condition and reasons why she is requesting an <br />extension on hooking up to the city sewer. <br />Mrs. Ray Peterson appeared before council requesting a special <br />use permit for placement of a trailer on the property at 7261 <br />Main Street to maintain as residence while their home is being <br />built. Fran Burque made a motion to issue Mr. & Mrs. Peterson <br />a special use permit for 90 days from this date, Floyd Laska <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br />James Husnick appeared before council requesting an extension <br />on the final plat presentation of Peltier Hills Addition. Fran <br />Burque made a motion to grant a 60 day extension which would <br />run the time limit date January 23, 1979, Floyd Laska seconded <br />it, motion carried. Walt Williams was in attendance and presented <br />council with street plans for Peltier Hills Addition, <br />Mayor Prachar read communication from Senator Delores Knaak <br />requesting attendance at one of our council meeting. Clerk <br />will follow up on same. <br />Discussion was held on Mrs. Ida May LaMotte's sewer service <br />off of Westview. Agreement had been made for the City to pay <br />53' @ $7• of the 153' total pipe and 1 cleanout at $70. <br />Tom Tourville appeared before council requesting payment on <br />bills he has submitted to the City for work on sewer install- <br />ations. Bills were turned over to Engineer to discuss with <br />contractor Houle. <br />Mayor Prachar read communication from North Central Public <br />Service advising an increase in natural gas rates for our <br />area. <br />Discussion was held on the purchase of a bulletin board for <br />outside City Hall. Consensus was to purchase a 48 x 36 2 -door <br />board with plexiglass, price being approximately $196. <br />Balance of meeting was spent on the City purchasing a truck <br />to be used for street use. Mayor and 2 council members will <br />be looking into the purchase. <br />Fran Burque made a motion to adjourn meeting, Leon L' Allier <br />Seconded it, motion carried.
