City Council meeting <br />minutes - August 9, 1978 <br />page two <br />Mr. James Sahl strom of 1605 Peltier Lake Drive read <br />-- PETITION FOR RETENTION OF STREET STATUS signed by Peltier <br />Lake Drive homeowners. Council goes on record accepting <br />petition and will be on file with City Clerk, <br />Mr. Arthur Raudio from First Guaranty was in attendance <br />and discussion was held on the drainage problem on the <br />Palmer and Lundblad properties in the Center Oaks project. <br />The Supplemental Development Contract was read by clerk <br />which pertains to the City and First Guaranty on the Center <br />Oaks project and will be signed by Mayor, Clerk and First <br />Guaranty officials when Mr. Raudio has the Northwestern <br />National Bank's letter of credit extended to cover July 1, <br />1979• <br />Clerk read letter from Dean Sonnek of Maplewood who owns <br />Lots 4, 5 and 6, Block 1 in Centerville concerning a weed <br />problem. <br />Floyd Laska made the motion to adopt the following Resolution: <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF CEN TERVILLE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Sorel Street from <br />Progress Road to Clearwater Road known as Project #78-2 <br />and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion <br />of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter #429• <br />AT <br />C"LERK7 REASURER <br />and for Engineer to prepare <br />above project and report to <br />it, motion carried. <br />CITY OF CEN <br />JMAYOR <br />feasibility report on the <br />council, Fran Burque seconded <br />Jerry Sundberg presented council with proposed budget for <br />the Fire Department for the year 1979. This will be dis- <br />cussed at the budget meeting set for next month. <br />Norm Fritchie gave follow-up on his Sharing with Lino <br />Lakes presentation of June 8. <br />
