The City Council of the City of Centerville me <br />June 14, 1978 in the City Hall, Present were <br />L' Allier , Laska , Murray and Attorney Hawkins, <br />called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm. <br />t on Wednesday <br />, <br />Burque, <br />Mayor Prachar <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Several complaints heard on the <br />clean up of the sewer construction work. Ruth Knabe has <br />complaint on the trees that were planted in her yard and <br />general cleanup, matter tabled until next meeting when <br />council members could look at the situation; Leon L' Allier l <br />-hate -laint about -his -driveway ; culvert at 7Z-3- 5 Mill Road <br />is damaged and needs correcting; Richard Baber had complaint <br />on back yard work that needs to be corrected. Clerk was to <br />advise the project engineer on complaints, <br />City streets are to be looked over and gravel brought in <br />to fill chuck holes before grading is done this weekend <br />and oiling done next week. <br />Mayor read portions of letter from North Central Public <br />Service advising residents of reduction in the natural gas <br />rates beginning on and after June 28, 1978 which would <br />amount to approximately $1.80 reduction annually. <br />Clerk read letter from Lynda Hentges of 7397 Mill Road <br />concerning permit application she has forwarded to the City <br />for their approval on work to be done on the shoreline by <br />her home, <br />Fran Burque made a motion to approve application from <br />Robert's Restaurant for set up license for one year <br />from July 1, 1978 to June 30, 1979 Elmer Murray seconded <br />it, motion carried. <br />Fran Burque made a motion to order 100 reprints made of <br />Ordinance #10, Floyd Laska seconded it, motion carried. <br />Greg Evein appeared before council with a request for a <br />3.2 beer permit fora softball tournament to be held on <br />July 8 and 9. 1978 at the Twin Lakes Ballfield. Council <br />discussed situation and Fran Burque made a motion to adopt <br />Resoltuion setting up rules and regulations for activities <br />held within the City, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion <br />carried. Copy of Resolution is attached to and made a <br />part of these minutes. <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to adopt Resolution amending <br />Ordinance #19, concerning the misdemeanor fine in the City <br />as follows: RESOLUTION - The fine for a misdemeanor within <br />the City limits of Centerville shall be defined by Minnesota <br />Statutes, Leon L' Allier seconded it, motion carried. Copy <br />of amendment' to Ordinance #19 is attached and made a part of <br />these minutes. <br />
