J-~1 The City Council of Centerville held their re~ular meeting on Wednesday, December 11, 1974. Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. Councilmen present were Burque, L'Allier, Peterson and Murray. Clerk read minutes of meeting held on November 13, 1974. There being no additions or corrections, the minutes stand approved as read. PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Complaint on brown station 1.~.ragon parked on LalVIotte Drive in front of Baber's house for long time. Clerk was to tell Police Chief about it. There was a discussion on the skating rink. Parent-Schilling Estate situation: Clerk has proper :papers for court action and ll\,Till ini tiate right a~I'lay. Welsch letter - no response to letter, matter tabled until next meeting. Able Building Systems - display building has been removed. Fire contract for 1975. Norm went over 5 recommendations made by Mr. Hawkins and included #4 in contract. Elmer Murray made a motion to go along with Norm's recommendations and changes on fire contract and to accept and approved contract for 1975, Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. Fran Burque made a motion to change the rate of pay for the Fire Chief from $50 a year to $4 a month, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. Discussion was held on burning in Centerville and the rules and regulations according to the MPCA. Hank Amundsen appeared before council with 1974 Building Inspector' s report. He suggested "vri ting a letter to the o~mer of 7124 Progress Road to find Ollt what he plans to do abOtlt the Fire Marshal.s recommendations on the building. Also wanted the council to look at the State Building Permit fee schedule for their approval. - Mr. Brwin from Crimsoncross Kennel appeared before council for discussion on 1975 fees and matter was tabled until next meeting. Police Chief Myhre brought in November police reports for Centervil1e and Lino~ Mayor informed council he did not attend meeting on November 23 held by the League in discussing the NSP rate increase. COtlncil '~as to give some thought to the letter from Burman asking for a representative from Centerville on the local park development Advisory Committee. Matter to be taken up at next meeting.
