She noted that the City was not info~med as to his intention to purchase the bar until Thursday, December 19, 1991. She advised that normally it would take a minimum of thi~ty days to process the licenses through the City and the State. She advised that City would do what it could to expedite the process, but no p~omises could be made as the bonds and certificate of insurance have not yet been obtained, the back ground check is not yet completed and the fees have not been paid and the State has yet considered the application. OLD BUSINESS Snow Plow Task Force Council membe~ Wilharber gave an update with regard to the Snow Plow Task Force. He advised that they met on Satu~day, December 14, 1991. He advised that Dave Lutz and Joe Steele, the ~esidents rep~esentatives, could not attend the meeting, but appeared to be inte~ested in being included in any additional futu~e meetings. Council member Wilha~ber noted that the Task Fo~ce discussed that the October "mega storm" was a once in a lifetime situation and that the~e was complaining in all cities. He noted that a draft is being prepared to be considered at the next Snow Plow Task Force meeting with regard to the cu~rent Snow Plow Policy and Emergency Snow Plow Situations. He suggested that the next City Newsletter advise that blowing, shoveling and plowing across City streets is against State Statute. Flood Reduction DeDartment of Natural Resources Grant Acclication The Cle~k/Administrator advised that the Department of Natural Resources has supplied the City with a supplement to the original cont~act #29000-55337-01 with regard to the time frame that the work was accomplished for the project so that the monies for the grant could be allocated. A copy of the supplement is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to approve the supplement #1 to contract #29000-55337-01 from the Department of Natural Resources for an agreement with the City of Centerville to conduct a feasibility study and an inventory of flood prone structures, motion carried unanimously. Newsletter Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to approve the current draft of the City Newsletter with any City Council comments submitted for possible changes to include a section regarding the placement of snow across City streets by individual residents, motion carried unanimously.
