She noted that the City was not info~med as to <br />his intention to purchase the bar until Thursday, December 19, <br />1991. She advised that normally it would take a minimum of <br />thi~ty days to process the licenses through the City and the <br />State. She advised that City would do what it could to expedite <br />the process, but no p~omises could be made as the bonds and <br />certificate of insurance have not yet been obtained, the back <br />ground check is not yet completed and the fees have not been paid <br />and the State has yet considered the application. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Snow Plow Task Force <br />Council membe~ Wilharber gave an update with regard to the Snow <br />Plow Task Force. He advised that they met on Satu~day, December <br />14, 1991. He advised that Dave Lutz and Joe Steele, the <br />~esidents rep~esentatives, could not attend the meeting, but <br />appeared to be inte~ested in being included in any additional <br />futu~e meetings. Council member Wilha~ber noted that the Task <br />Fo~ce discussed that the October "mega storm" was a once in a <br />lifetime situation and that the~e was complaining in all cities. <br />He noted that a draft is being prepared to be considered at the <br />next Snow Plow Task Force meeting with regard to the cu~rent Snow <br />Plow Policy and Emergency Snow Plow Situations. He suggested <br />that the next City Newsletter advise that blowing, shoveling and <br />plowing across City streets is against State Statute. <br /> <br />Flood Reduction DeDartment of Natural Resources Grant <br />Acclication <br />The Cle~k/Administrator advised that the Department of Natural <br />Resources has supplied the City with a supplement to the original <br />cont~act #29000-55337-01 with regard to the time frame that the <br />work was accomplished for the project so that the monies for the <br />grant could be allocated. <br /> <br />A copy of the supplement is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to approve the supplement <br />#1 to contract #29000-55337-01 from the Department of Natural <br />Resources for an agreement with the City of Centerville to <br />conduct a feasibility study and an inventory of flood prone <br />structures, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Newsletter <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to approve the current draft <br />of the City Newsletter with any City Council comments submitted <br />for possible changes to include a section regarding the placement <br />of snow across City streets by individual residents, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
