<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, June <br />26, 1991 at the City Hall. Mayor Haberman called the meeting to <br />order at 7:05 p.m. Present: Buckbee, Daria, Pelton. Absent: <br />BlJ.rgst,alller' " <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to approve the June 12, 1991 <br />meeting minutes with the following corrections: <br />Page six, paragraph 5 <br />Now Reads: "Mayor Habermall qllest,ioned WIlY a <br />recycling building was budgeted for..." <br /> <br />Amend to Read: "Mayor Haberman question why a design <br />fee for a recycling area within proposed <br />mllnicipal bllilding was blldgeted for..." <br /> <br />Page six, paragraph 6 <br />Now Reads: "Council member Pelton explained that <br />the recycling building could be used to <br />store some recyclable items generated by <br />the Ci ty Hall alld Fire Station. II <br /> <br />Amend to Read: "Council member Pelton explained that <br />the recycling area could be used to <br />store some recyclable items generated by <br />the City Hall and Fire Station as well <br />as potential, but as yet unidentified, <br />other recycling needs." <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Haberman, second by Pelton to approve the June 19, 1991 <br />City Council meeting minutes, Aye - Haberman; Aye - Pelton; Aye- <br />Buckbee; Abstain - Dario; motion carried. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Dan Henderson. Centerville Police Liaison <br />Dan Henderson, Centerville Police Liaison, was present at the <br />meeting to give an update to the City Council. Mr. Henderson <br />expressed his sadness in Mayor Haberman resigning. Mr. Henderson <br />noted that most of the speeders in Centerville are out of town <br />residents. He advised that dog complaints are up. He advised <br />that Joel Heckman has been assigned the duty of Deputy Chief and <br />Bob Makela has been assigned duty of Patrol Sergeant. <br /> <br />Mayor Haberman questioned whether the police would mind opening <br />and closing the restrooms in the City park. Orville Hughes, <br />Public Works Director, was present and advised that the restrooms <br />are now left open. <br /> <br />Police Chief Dave VanBurkleo was also present at the meeting. He <br />suggested that the City obtain a sign for the City park with <br />regard to alcoholic beverages to help awareness to potential <br />violators. Chief VanBurkleo will speak to the City Attorney <br />
