He advised that it <br />appears that total expense were $10,792.55. He advised that <br />total income appeared to be $10,079.15. This appears to <br />represent a cost of $713.40 to the City for the City Celebration. <br />He advised that one of the up front costs that would not be re- <br />occurring was $1,443.16 to be paid to Rivard Electric for wiring <br />up at the Park Facility so that the event could occur. Mr. Daria <br />advised that Rivard Electric had donated over $700.00 of labor <br />for the project. <br /> <br />Council member Daria advised that the 1992 City Celebration would <br />be held the weekend of July 31, AUg~bL 1 and 2, 1992. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Dario to authorize Mayor John <br />Buckbee and Council member Dario to enter into a contract to <br />secure carnival rides for the 1992 Fete des Lacs; <br />the contract shall first be reviewed by the City <br />Attorney and City Staff; <br />the carnival shall supply a bond and certificate of <br />insurance to the City of Centerville; <br />and it shall be investigated as to whether other cities <br />and/or organizations pay for carnival rides one year in <br />advance to reserve a date, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council member Dario advised that some beer, brats and hamburgers <br />were left over from the Celebration and he requested permission <br />from the City Council to use the leftovers to hold an <br />Appreciation Party for all of the City Celebration Volunteers. <br /> <br />Motion by Dario, second by Buckbee to grant a 3.2 Beer Permit to <br />the City Celebration Committee on the date that they shall hold <br />, the Volunteer Appreciation Party for the Fete des Lacs volunteers <br />and the City of Centerville has waived the fee for the 3.2 Beer <br />Permit, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Oak Wilt Fly Over <br />Mayor Buckbee advised that he recently participated in an Oak <br />Wilt Fly Over of Anoka County. He noted that Anoka County has <br />approximately 50% infestation in Minnesota. He suggested that <br />the City supply some information in a future Newsletter. <br /> <br />Payment of Claims <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Buckbee to approve the current <br />payment of claims of the City of Centerville, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
