City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />May 28, 2008 <br />Mayor Capra inquired whether they could schedule a Work Session on Tuesday, June 3. <br />Councilmember Broussard-Vickers stated that the June 3rd or the 10th would be good <br />dates. <br />Councilmember Lee stated that June 3rd or 10th would be good for him. <br />City Administrator Larson placed a call to Councilmember Lakso, and Councilmember <br />Lakso stated that June 10 would work for her. <br />City Administrator Larson then clarified that the next Work Session would be on June 10 <br />at 6:30 p.m. <br />Councilmember Broussard-Vickers suggested that by the June 10 Work Session, the City <br />Council Members should decide, and make a list of, exactly what they are willing to <br />support. <br />Council Member Broussard-Vickers stated that she would support this project and noted <br />that they had opposition in 2004 also. <br />Mayor Capra stated that she needs to be sure of what they would be adding on for the <br />levy. <br />2. Storm Dama'~e Update <br />Mayor Capra stated that there was damage to some public buildings. <br />Public Works Director Palzar stated that 100% of the homes have some sort of hail <br />damage. He added that there are also some with tree debris. He stated that they will not <br />do tree removal as a City expense at this time. <br />Mayor Capra stated that the City Council would have to determine, with each separate <br />incident, whether or not tree removal should be included as a City expense. <br />3. Parks and Recreation <br />City Engineer Statz stated that the next Parks and Recreation meeting would be held on <br />June 4. He added that they have proposals to bring to the Parks Board on June 4. <br />X. ADJOURNMENT <br />Mayor Capra announced that the City Council Meeting would reconvene with the Work <br />Session Meeting after a short break. <br />Mayor Capra adjourned the City Council Meeting at 8:12 p.m. <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />
