<br />City of Centerville <br />November 12, 2003 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that Staff would mail out new numbers as soon as they <br />become available. The next meeting is December 1,2003. <br /> <br />4. Special Assessments Pheasant Marsh. Phase II 2003 Certification to 2004 <br />Property Taxes (Resolution #03-063) <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney opened the public hearing at 7: 10 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson reviewed the assessments for Pheasant Marsh Phase II and indicated that the <br />costs worked out to $29,943 per lot in that subdivision. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that Ms. Marty, the attorney for Ground Development, has <br />provided a letter of objection. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked if the letter is appropriate written notice for <br />each parcel. City Attorney Hoeft indicated that it is. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked how they can object to Phase II when they <br />waived the right to object. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that Ms. Marty has taken the position that she needed to <br />object to Phase I and Phase II to preserve her right to object to Phase ill. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked whether Phase I has been paid. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that Phase I is paid and he believes they would like to pay <br />Phase II before the end of the year as well. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked whether they are done objecting once they <br />have paid. City Attorney Hoeft indicated that they would be. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member Lee <br />to close tbe DubHe bearinS!. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney closed the public hearing at 7: 15 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member Paar <br />to aDDrove Resolution #03-063 as Dresented.
