<br />City of Centerville <br />November 12, 2003 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />2. Resolution #03-059. Amending the City's Flexible Spending Account <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that this is a housekeeping matter to allow for reimbursement <br />of over the counter medications as is now allowed by the IRS. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member Lee <br />to aoorove Resolution #03-059 as oresented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimouslv. <br /> <br />3. Donation of Old Copy Machine Located at Public Works to Chauncey Barett <br />Gardens <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that the City has an excess copy machine due to the purchase <br />of a new machine for City Hall and would like to donate it to Chauncey Barett Gardens. <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated he had no issue with the donation. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to authorize the donation of the old co~y machine located at Public Works to <br />Chauncey Barrett Gardens. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />4. 2004 Liquor & Tobacco License Renewals <br /> <br />Council Member Lee asked if Waterworks and Kelly's renewals were received. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that they were not received and she had advised the clerk not <br />to hold up approval of those that had been received. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft suggested including the language that is suggested at the bottom of <br />the Staff memo concerning payment of property taxes and delinquent utilities. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Paar to aoorove the <br />Liquor and Tobacco License Renewals for 2004 for Comer Exoress. Sa2er's Liquor. <br />Trio Inn. Tom Thumb. and WiseGuys Pizza subiect to confirmation of oavment of <br />all orooertv taxes due on orooertv owned bv individuals aoolvinl! for Iicensin2 <br />within the City of CenterviUe. confirmation of oavment of delinquent municioal <br />utilities/2arba2e services and the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated she had not seen insurance certificates for <br />Comer Express and Tom Thumb. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated those renewals are for tobacco only and do not require <br />insurance certificates. <br /> <br />VOTE: All in favor.
