<br />city of Centerville <br />March 13, 2002 <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />2. Turcotte Property <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that Juran &. Moody had advised that the building should not <br />be destroyed before deciding on TIP. She then indicated that she had received a request <br />to either have or purchase the windows from the basement and garage if the blli1d~ is <br />destroyed. <br /> <br />3. Eagle Pass tMi Addition Developers Asre~inal Plat <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that Mr. Quigley was researching the sewer costs. <br /> <br />4. Eaale Pass Town Home Association -Increase Liiht Wattage <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that the City had received a check and request from Eagle <br />Pass Townhomes for increased lighting. She then indicated that the work had been <br />ordered. <br /> <br />5. Finance Director <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that the position closes on Friday, March 15, 2002 at 4:00 <br />p.rn. and noted she has received six applications. <br /> <br />6. LOGIS <br /> <br />No report. <br /> <br />7. Can~da Geese Situation <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes reported she had been contacted by a resident asking if the City has <br />any plans to help with the relief from the number of Can9dian Geese on lakeshore <br />property. She then connnented that there are programs but it would be a significant <br />expense to the City. <br /> <br />Mr. Patzer indicated there is a chemical that is sprayed on lawns that seems to work and <br />the company guarantees results. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked Staff to contact the resident and teU them <br />about the chemical <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that Staff had determined there bad not been a journal entry <br />done from the water and sewer fund for the public works facility. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Nelson, seconded bv CouncD Member Broussard <br />V!ckers to autllorize Stall'to transfer 6 % from tile sewer fund. 4.5% from tke <br />water fund and 2% from tile storm drain fund for tile Durckase of tile DubUc works <br />faciUty.
