city of Centerville March 13, 2002 Council Minutes 2. Turcotte Property Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that Juran &. Moody had advised that the building should not be destroyed before deciding on TIP. She then indicated that she had received a request to either have or purchase the windows from the basement and garage if the blli1d~ is destroyed. 3. Eagle Pass tMi Addition Developers Asre~inal Plat Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that Mr. Quigley was researching the sewer costs. 4. Eaale Pass Town Home Association -Increase Liiht Wattage Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that the City had received a check and request from Eagle Pass Townhomes for increased lighting. She then indicated that the work had been ordered. 5. Finance Director Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that the position closes on Friday, March 15, 2002 at 4:00 p.rn. and noted she has received six applications. 6. LOGIS No report. 7. Can~da Geese Situation Ms. Moore-Sykes reported she had been contacted by a resident asking if the City has any plans to help with the relief from the number of Can9dian Geese on lakeshore property. She then connnented that there are programs but it would be a significant expense to the City. Mr. Patzer indicated there is a chemical that is sprayed on lawns that seems to work and the company guarantees results. Council Member Broussard Vickers asked Staff to contact the resident and teU them about the chemical Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that Staff had determined there bad not been a journal entry done from the water and sewer fund for the public works facility. Motion bv Council Member Nelson, seconded bv CouncD Member Broussard V!ckers to autllorize Stall'to transfer 6 % from tile sewer fund. 4.5% from tke water fund and 2% from tile storm drain fund for tile Durckase of tile DubUc works faciUty.
