<br />Mr. Lee questioned the dollar amount of the pay request for Hunter's Crossing. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated the amounts were for civic improvements and noted that there <br />was a bond that the money was being paid out of. <br /> <br />Vote: Ayes - 5. Nays - O. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked what the large check to U.S. Bank Corp was for. Ms. <br />Moore-Sykes indicated she would look into it and report back. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated that he thought the amount was a transfer out to pay for a <br />bond. He then noted that he was not sure that the budget had allowed for the $58,000 for <br />the City Hall lease and asked Staff to look into it. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated she did not have a problem approving the check but <br />said she wanted to know what it was for. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Caura. seconded by Council Member Nelson to <br />approve Consent Aszenda Items 1 and 2 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated she did not see the mediation services item <br />in the budget and asked Staff to look into whether it was included. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that mediation services is a good tool to use for <br />neighborhood disputes and noted there was one brewing right now. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated she did not have a problem with paying a <br />fee to be allowed to use the mediation services but noted that the item needed to be <br />included in the budget. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member <br />Capra to approve Consent Aszenda Item 6 as presented. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />x. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Council Member Capra reported that at the Apri12001 Cable Commission Meeting the <br />executive committee had voted to fund the formal process against AT&T all the way to <br />the end. She then noted that the attorneys have indicated that they do not think it will go <br />all the way to the end but it could. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that there could be additional monies that <br />the City would be requested to pay that should be included in the budget. <br /> <br />Page 22 of 24 <br />
