The treasurer pOSition minimum reQuirements <br />are to be a bac~elor's del!ree in aceountin!! 0" fiJI.nce with two vears of municipal <br />experience and aD current employees would stav at the same pal' !!rade. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg suggested a friendly amendment to the motion to indicate that all <br />current employees would stay at the same pay grade. <br /> <br />The friendly amendment was accepted by Council Member Nelson and Council Member <br />Capra. <br /> <br />Council Member Travis asked for the names of the positions. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson indicated that the City Treasurer would be filled by a new <br />person, the City Clerk would be Ms. Bender, the utility billing person would be Chris <br />Sweeney, and the receptionist would be Kim Stephan. <br /> <br />Ms. Bender asked if Council could consider that the office clerk position do the minutes <br />for the committees. <br /> <br />Aves - 4. Navs - 1 (Broussard Vickers). Motion earried. <br /> <br />2. Resolution #02-002. Tom Thumb Food Market Conu>1iance Violations <br /> <br />Ms. Bender indicated she bad spoken with someone from the head office of Tom Thumb <br />and extended the offer to come to the Council meeting but the offer was declined. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked if Tom Thumb had been issued a fine for the last violation. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated a fine was not issued for the last violation. <br /> <br />Ms. Bender suggested discussing the matter at the same time as the liquor license <br />violations. <br /> <br />Page 16 of25 <br />
