Minutes of the 13 April 1966 Meeting The Ville,ge Council of Centerville held their-regular meeting in the Village Hall on l~ April 1966. ( Those present were: ~M8..yor Bryon <Oouncilman Dupre' Councilman La Motte Councilman Peterson Treasurer Ruth Knabe Clerk Happy Also present were: Miss Bokjonen Fran Burque M~rv Rehbein Francis Dreawves A motion was made by Happy and seconded qy Peterson to accept the ,plot of Cecil La Motte. The motion was carr~ed qy all. kl'.m6tion lias mS.-de qy Happy a..nd seconded qy Peterson to furnish a 24 inch by 40 foot oulvert for t.he (La. ~Jotte road?). The motion WB.,S carried qy all.. It 118.18 a.'greed by a.ll to have the Dog Catcher pa.trol the Village for two months. The Council will not object to the use of the land and beach on Centerville Lake by the Centerville School Dist. but will not be held liable for a~ acoidents. A motion was made by La Motte and seconded qy Peterson to hire J. R. Hoffman, an,engineer, to do the s~vey work on Peltier Drive. The motion was carried by all. Ceoil La Motte will be in Charge of the new street ordinance, with the assis- tance of Ma.rv Rehbein and Fran Burque. The do,g license and tags ~ill now be purcha,se~ at La Motte's store. Melvin Dupree reported tha.,t the street naming was progressing. Treasurer Rut~.
