<br />~ <br /> <br />Minutes of the 9 March 1966 Meeting <br /> <br />E=~I <br /> <br />The village council of Centerville had their regular meeting in the Village Hall <br />on the 9th of March 1966. <br /> <br />Those present were: <br /> <br />Mayor Bryon <br />Counci~an La-Motte <br />Counc.ilman Dupre <br />Council.an Peterson <br />Treasurer Ruth Knabe <br />Clerk Happy <br /> <br />0.,".':........ <br />' " <br /> <br /> <br />'It~... 1 . <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Also present were: <br /> <br />Gene Tracy <br />Francis Dreawves <br />Miss Bokjonen <br />R W'Reilly <br /> <br />The minutes of 9 February 1966 were read and accepted. <br /> <br />A letter of resignation from Jim Meyers was read and accepted. All -agreed to ..R <br />Willi~ Reilly as the new Village Attorney, 1220 Minnesota Bldg, phone 222-1761, <br />,home phorie 698-7713. <br /> <br />~ request by Don Lillie to operate a r~ding stable was tabled until the ~ext meeting. <br /> <br />Due to the 'poor condition of the streets in the village, all agreed to put Cpuncilman <br />La' Motte in"charge of the repair work. <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />The new warmi~g house was discussed, but there will have to be more meetings befo,re <br />a decision is arriv~d upon. ' <br /> <br />The"p,o.wer_..pl~n,t_"reques_t by the Fire Departme~twas agreed upon when a fixed price <br />wa~ pres~nted'by the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />Council~~n D'.pre repo~ted that the street naming is progressing. <br /> <br />Mayor 8ryon will post notices in th~ Village of a meeting in the near future &"i.ld <br />to explain to the citizens the functions of the Village Police Department. <br /> <br />Treas~rer Ruth Knobe reported the balance to be 3641,68. <br /> <br />.
