<br />Minutes of the 30 December 1965 Meeting <br /> <br />The Village Council of Centerville held a special meeting in the <br />Village Hall on 30 December 1965. <br /> <br />Those present were: <br /> <br />') <br />\ <br /> <br />I...... . ~.... <br /> <br />Mayor Burque <br />Councilman Dupre <br />Councilman LaMotte <br />Councilman Peterson <br />Treasurer Ruth Knabe <br />Clerk Happy <br /> <br />also present were: <br /> <br />Clifford Lyzhoft <br />Ivan Peloquin <br />Ruth Butters <br />RcNe i 1 Bryon <br />Francis Dreawves <br /> <br />All the licenses for Clifford Lyzho~t, owner of the Corner Bar, were <br />renewed and paid for. <br /> <br />All the licenses for Ivan Peloquin, owner of Ivan's Bar, were renewed <br />and paid for. <br /> <br />All the licenses for Carol Butters were renewed and paid for on the <br />Twin Lakes Country Club. <br /> <br />The following newly elected officers were sworn in by Clerk Happy. <br /> <br />Ruth Knabe - Treasurer <br />John Peterson - Councilman <br />McNeil Bryon - Mayor <br />Francis Dr"eawves - Constable <br />Mike Moreland -' Justice of the Peace <br /> <br />Lester Mussehl of 879 Oakdale, West St. Paul was sworn in asPavillion <br />Police, his bond and wages are to be 2paid by the owners of the Twin Lakes <br />Country Club. <br /> <br />n <br /> <br />Gene Tracy suggested the coun~il approve the purchase of a new Justice <br />Manual and recording book for the newly elected Justice, Mike Moreland. <br />This was approved by all. Mr. Tracy also turned the fine money. <br /> <br />Clerk Happy will deliver the cigarette and 3.2 Off Sale License to the <br />LaMotte Store~ and the cigarette license to the Centerville Eat Shop. <br /> <br />Treasurer Ruth Knabe read the financial report for 1965; this was <br />accepted by all. <br /> <br />Treasurer Ruth Knabe reported the balance to be $1,416.29. <br />
