. -' \__J t.J Minutes of the 9 November 1965 Meeting The Village Council of Centerville held their regular meeting in' the Village .Hall on 9 November 1965. Those present were: Mayor Burque Councilman Peterson Councilman Dupre Councilman LaMotte Treasurer Ruth Knabe Clerk Happy The minutes of the 13 and 18 October 1965 meetings were read and accepted. Clerk Happy is to contact Joe ~aCasse Jr. about the "No U Turn1l ; signs; and~if it is not picked up before 24 November .1965, th~re ~11 be a warrant issued for his arrest. Melvin Dupre will draw up a new fire protect-ion plan between---Lino and Centervil1e increasing the sum from $1,300.00' a year to $._ . ~. l J/ tftJ~ ~ The Village Council all agreed to accept the agre~ent between Cecil LaMo~te and the St. Paul WaterWorks Depa~tment for construction .of a road over the Water Works Depar~ment pipe line. A motion was made by Dupre, and seconded by Peterson, to approve LaMottes' plot ~n the west end of'D street. This was approved by all. Clerk Happy is to contact Village Attorney, JDm Meyer, on the $100.00 bill we have received. John Peterson brought up the question of 'what can be done on the construction of a village hockey rink. No solution was arrived upon. John Peterson will haul same fill to Dmprove the road on Peltier Drive. The council also agreed to have some black top on the approach of the road to the driveways of Carroll Skiba and James Lachowitzer put in. · Clerk Happy is to find someone to take over the Civil Defense duties. Treasurer Ruth Knabe reported the balance to be $1,157.74. - The following bills were agreed to be paid: N. W. Bell Telephone Company Walter S.
