<br />"J ' <br /> <br />f" <br />, " } <br /> <br />Minutes of 13 October 1965 Meeting <br /> <br />The Village Council of Centerville held their regular meeting in <br />the Village Hall on 13 October 1965. <br /> <br />Those present were: <br /> <br />Mayor Burque <br />Councilman Peterson <br />Councilman Dupre <br />C.ouncilman LaMotte <br />Treasurer Ruth Knobe <br />Clerk Happy <br /> <br />also present were: <br /> <br />Cliff Dupre <br />Carol Butters <br />Harold Sax <br />Gene Peloquin and wif~ <br />Carroll Skiba <br />Gene Tracy <br />Edward J. LaMotte. <br /> <br />The minutes of 8 September 1965 were read and accepted. <br /> <br />,p' Edward J. LaMotte picked up the Village sign as he was supposed to <br />do, and will pay for it ($20.00) on Saturday, 6 October 196? <br /> <br />Gene Peloquin was at the meeting to get approval for the transfer <br />of ,his 3.2, cigarette, dance hall, and set-ups licenses to Carol Butters. <br />The Council will meet on Monday, 18 October 1965 at 7:30 to give its <br />approval. There will be no rebate on any license held by Peloquin. <br /> <br />Clifford Dupre was at the meeting .to see if some 30 mile speed <br />limit signs could be put up on the road to Hugo (County Road 14) and <br />~he Village limits. Clerk Happy will contact the Anoka County Highway <br />Department ~~r the signs. <br /> <br />Clerk Happy is to contact the County Attornep on the excessive <br />, attorney fees of the Village Attorney Meyer and Hiniker, and also if they <br />have to represent the Village on all the traffic cases where there is a <br />change of venue involved. <br /> <br />Clerk Happy is to have published, if necessary, an ordinance limiting <br />parking on Village streets to 72 hours. <br /> <br />The Council approved the following budget for the coming year, 1966: <br /> <br />Lights <br />Snow removal <br />Roads <br />Playgrounds <br />Police <br /> <br />1,200.00 <br />300.00 <br />2,000.00 <br />500.00 <br />2,000.00 <br /> <br />6,000.00 <br /> <br />Total <br />
