<br />) <br /> <br />') <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />\ ). <br /> <br />".~!~ ' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />'-:i <br /> <br />Minutes of 14 July 1965 <br />Meeting <br /> <br />The Village Council of Centerville held their regular meeting in the Village <br /> <br />Hall on 14 July 1965. <br /> <br />Those present were: <br /> <br />Mayor ~urque <br />Treasurer Ruth Knobe <br />Councilman LaMotte <br />Councilman Peterson <br />Councilman Dupre <br />Clerk Happy <br /> <br />The minutes from the meeting of 23 June 1965 were read and accepted. <br /> <br />A motion was made by LaMotte, seconded by Peterson, to haul gravel and fill <br /> <br />in the road between the two tracts of land owned by -Tourville and LaMotte. <br /> <br />Carroll Skiba wanted to know if the Village could do something about getting <br /> <br />one of Anoka County Sheriff's second-hand squad cards for patrolling the <br /> <br />Village streets. Mayor Burque will contact the Sheriff's Office to see if <br /> <br />one is available. <br /> <br />Garry Barrett and Wayne Wether land were at the meeting to see what could be <br /> <br />done about flushing out the Village's storm sewer; no definite solution was <br /> <br />arri ved upon.. <br /> <br />It was agreed upon by the council to put off signing the gas franchise until <br /> <br />the next regular meeting. <br /> <br />Treasurer Ruth Knobe reported the Village account balance to be"$5,554.76. <br /> <br />Joe La Cosse, Jr., was at the meeting and offered to pay for his share of the <br /> <br />- - - <br /> <br />UNo U Turn" s~gns that he and his friends tore down one morning. The cppncil . <br />..: ~.7 <br /> <br />'~::'". ; <br /> <br /> <br />agreed to let these fellows off for the price of the signs and for th~~labor <br /> <br />of putting them up. <br />
