<br />23 April 1965 <br /> <br />The Village Council of Centervil1e held a special meeting on 23 April <br />1965. Those present were: <br /> <br />Mayor Burque Treasurer-Ruth Knabe <br />Councilman LaMotte <br />Councilman Peterson <br />Councilman Dupre <br />Clerk Happy <br /> <br />Also present were: <br /> <br />Gene Tracey, Bud Reddening, Garry Barret. <br /> <br />The minutes of 10 March 1965 were read, Motion to accept minutes as read <br />made by Councilman LaMotte and seconded by Peterson. <br /> <br />The request of Mr. Leon Olson for pe~ission to start a car wrecking <br />project was turned down. Clerk Happy is to write Mr. Olson of the Village <br />de~ision. <br /> <br />v <br /> <br />The council is to talk to different citizens concerning the gas franchise. <br />It will be brought up again at the next meeting for approval. <br /> <br />F <br /> <br />Councilman Peterson agreed to contact the parties who lots are up for tax <br />forfeiture, and will bring findings to next meeting. <br /> <br />Bud Reddening, Anoka County Asaft. Eng., discussed different methods of <br />blacktopping the Peltier Dr. road. He will report at next regular meeting. <br />Also discussed was the road between Floyd LaMotte and Fran Burque1shomes; <br />there was no decision. Mr. Tracey,who lives on Cemetary road, wanted to <br />know what could be done about fixing said road, It was agreed to take <br />care of it as in past years, and to get rid of the low spots where same <br />water has been standing. Fran Burque will take a look at it. <br /> <br />A motion was made to change the village labor wage rates from $:.2.00 to <br />$3.00 an hour".by Councilman LaMotte and seconded by Councilman Dupre, and <br />carried by all. <br /> <br />(.............'.. <br />. ./) <br /> <br />Garry Barret was at meeting to see if he could have work done on the Ball <br />Park. Motion made by Peterson and seconded by LaMotte carried by all to <br />have three-ten yard loads of sand brought in, and disking to be done where <br />needed. <br /> <br />~ayor Burque stated that Hugo is going to fix the dog pond so as to be <br />acceptable. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Peterson and carried by all that the clerk should write <br />letters to anyone reported breaking the Village Ordinances concerning the <br />burning of garbage, papers, etc. outside. <br />
