<br /> <br /> <br />July 9, 1964 <br /> <br />The regular monthly meeting of the Village council of Centerville was held on <br />Thursday, July 9, 1964, at the village hall. <br /> <br />Mayor Burque <br /> <br />Councilmen: LaMotte <br />Dupre <br />Peterson <br />Clerk: Bourquin <br /> <br />Mr. Russell, Consultant engineer and his assistant. <br /> <br />Those present were: <br /> <br />c'! <br /> <br />Also present were: <br /> <br />The minutes of the last meeting were read. In a motion by Peterson, seconded <br />by Dupre, stand approved as read. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk Bourquin read ..to the Councilta letter from Frank Gallagher, Supervisor of <br />water supplies for the city of st. Paul, regarding the results from testing different <br />parts of the village on chemical analysis. A. discussion w~ held regarding thi~ <br />matter and the future outlook of the sewer project for the village. A.motion by <br />Bourquin and seconded by Peterson and carried. unanimously to engage Mr. Russell <br />at a maximum cost of $300 or less to survey and make plans regarding the contour <br />of the village and approximate cost for this sewer project which we will eventually <br />have to undertake. The purpose of this plan will help determine the village cost <br />and also that fall from all high points in the village area. <br /> <br />Clerk was notified to order a 24' x lfo' culvert for the Catholic school. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />- - <br /> <br />John Peterson said that he will ask Harvey Cartier to fix the man-hole bY' the <br />entrance of the ballfield and also PJ1t some dirt in the entrance to the ball- <br />field and some speed limit and slow signs on the ballfield entrance ways. <br /> <br />~Iayor "Burque will" contact Ramdsen and have them oil "D" street and Second street <br />and also the road in Burque's addition.
