<br />~linutes of the September 9, 1970 Meeting <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Centerville held their regular <br />meeting in the VillsJge Hall on the 9 September 1970. <br /> <br />, ) <br />\ / <br /> <br />Those present were: <br />I~1ayor Ri va.rd <br />Treas. Ruth Knabe <br />Clerk Ha.ppy <br /> <br />Councilman Dupre <br />Councilman Barott <br />Councilman Peterson <br /> <br />A motion by Peterson 2nd by Dupre to acoept the minutes of the 4th <br />August 1970 meeting as presented, motion oa.rried. <br /> <br />The Council agreed to have a formal hearing on the 30 Sept. 1970 <br />conoerning the improvements of Peltier Lake Dr. the Clerk shall notify <br />by mail all property owners. <br /> <br />A motion by Dupre 2nd qy Peterson to have Columbus Township do the <br />Village road grading, but Anoka Countlf to do the snow plowing, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Leon L~~lier, Fire Ch~if presented some needs for Fire Equipment to <br />the Village Council, b~yor Rivard will give further study to these needs. <br /> <br />The Village Sewage System was discussed to great lengths, the Village <br />has blue prints of the future system but without the lines going by <br />the Village there is nothing that can be accomplished. A resident of the <br />Village, Morieo Alleso olaimed that the Village was encouraging sewer <br />hook-ups to the present Storm Sewer, this acousation, was false as no <br />one on the Council has the authorety to give such a permit, and all <br />new construction has the Building Ordenance to follow. <br /> <br />Bob Hutchenson of the Anoka Coun~ Health Dept. was at the meeting, <br />there followed a very lengt~ discussion concerning Water POllution, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />.~d Seli'ege problems in the Village. <br /> <br />( ) <br /> <br />The Clerk shall contact the following 'for Election Judges for the <br />Primary Election, Audrey Burque, Ida ~~e Abresch, and ~ura Mills or <br />allternates Jo Ann LaMotte. <br /> <br />A motion by Barott 2nd ~J Dupre to grant St. Genieve Catholic Church <br />of Centerville the Cemetary, motion carried. <br /> <br />A motion by Peterson and 2nd by Barott to haul in nesseca~ fill for <br />the Hockey Rink, motion carried. <br /> <br />Treasurer Ruth Knabe reported the balance to be $ 6,572.03. <br />continued <br />
