January 8, 1964 The regular monthly meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Centerville was held on Jaauary 8, 1964. ( ) ........--.... Those present: LaMotte, Councilman Dupre, Councilman Peterson, Councilman Bourquin, Clerk Burque, Mayor ~be, Treasurer The meeting was opened by Mr. LaMotte acting Mayor an4 Chairman, due to the absence, at the beginning; of Mayor Burque. . ... . The minutes of the last two meetings were read by the Clerk, and a motion by Peterson, seconded by Dupre, to accept the minutes as read, so carried. , . , Ruth Knabe read the receipts of the treasurers report and Bourquin read the distributions of ~~e report for the year, 1963. Motion by' Peterson, seconded by LaMotte to accept both reports as read, and they were approved unanimously. Clerk ",as requested to write tOo the County Auditor to check the budget, which was sent for the year of 1964. Motion by Bourquin and seconded by LaMotte to appoint Ray Houle as dog catcher for the year of 1964. So carried. Motion by LaMotte, seconded by Bourquin to appoint the following Village Officials: Acting MSJ'or, Ceqil LaMotte Building Inspector, William Rehbien Village H~alth Officer, Dr. Reif Assistant Health Inspector, Melvin Dupre Assistant Health Inspector, John Peterson Weed Inspedtor t Ed Houle Attorney, Mr. Meyer Village Newspaper, Anoka Union Village Bank, First State Bank of Hugo .
