<br />October 9, 1963 <br /> <br />The regular monthly meeting of the Village Council of Centerville was held <br />on October 9, 1963. Those present were: Mayor Burque . <br />Councilman LaMotte <br />Councilman Peterson <br />- Councilman lhpre <br />Clerk Bourquin <br /> <br />( .)1 <br /> <br />There was a discussion pretaining to the Twin City Metropolitan Commission. <br />. A motion by Councilman Peterson and seconded by Dupre t~t the Village of <br />Centerville join the plan for a period not more than two years at the quoted <br />price of Slll.OO. This amount is tor the two years only. This planning <br />group meets every fourth ~esday of every month at the Forest Lake High <br />School. It was reque~ted of the Council to have the C1erk write a letter <br />to, the M.P.O. to accep~. this program. <br /> <br />A,'" motio~ by Bourquin and seconded by Peterson to hire T'~ A. S.chifsky to oil <br />and sand the Village streets. Mayor Burque will contact Schifslq in regards <br />to.. this matter, also verifying cost and material. <br /> <br />It was reque~ted by Harvey Cartier to put up some sort of barricade across <br />'he road near his home due to parking problem. This material was approved <br />by the . Village Council and was ordered by the Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Dupre and seconded by LaMotte to accept John Peterson's property <br />from a residential area to a commercial property. <br /> <br />Motion bl Dupre and seconded by Peterson to pay the following bUls: <br /> <br />1. $50.00 to Fi-ed Prue for use of tractor for cutting ball field grass <br />2. 17.50 for hand book Minnesota.
